Known as Esceri Piac (Piac is Hungarian for market), this could be considered as the equivalent of Portobello Road in London. The market is a fascinating and lively place with a variety of antique and modern objects and curios. The best time to visit the market is on Saturday mornings when it is busiest and there are more stallholders selling their wares. To get to the market, take the underground (line 3) to Határ út from where you can catch a bus (number 54) to the market itself.
